COACHING IN THE YHL
Volunteer coaches are integral to sport, and the YHL is no different.
As a coach, you play a critical role in the experience for the kids on your team.
Win or lose, the real value is watching your players develop their skills; chat with friends between shifts; and leave the rink with a smile on their faces. If that’s why you love this game, it sounds like you might make a great coach!
Minimum Coaching Requirements:
- Understanding of YHL rules and regulations
- Criminal background / vulnerable sector check
- Bonus: Hockey Canada or USA Hockey training
