An update to protocols in Ontario.
As Provincial guidelines in Ontario continue to change, we want to ensure that you’re prepared for your next visit to a Canlan Sports Complex. As always, the health and safety of our sports community is a shared responsibility. We sincerely appreciate your ongoing patience and support in keeping everyone safe.
Preparing for your visit to our Sports Complexes
Before visiting Canlan Sports in Ontario, there are four easy steps you’ll need to account for:
• Proof of Vaccination: Starting October 22nd, patrons that are required to provide proof of vaccination are encouraged to download and use their enhanced proof of vaccination QR code, which will be scanned by a Canlan Sports team member upon entry. If you’re more comfortable using a paper copy of your proof of vaccination or an original receipt for your second dose, that’ll work as well!
• Personal Identification: Patrons that are required to provide proof of vaccination will also be required to provide a piece of valid, government-issued photo identification for screening upon entry. For patrons under the age of 18 that may be in possession of government-issued photo-ID, a government-issued health card with their legal name will suffice.
• Personal Face Masks: At this time, patrons are required to wear a personal protective face mask at all times in the sports complex, unless they are: 1) actively engaged as a participant on the playing surface; or 2) actively consuming food and/or beverage in our on-site Wild Wing dining space.
Who’s required to provide proof of vaccination?
• Currently, any patron aged 18 or older will be required to present proof of vaccination and identification under the Government of Ontario’s COVID-19 protocols. Furthermore, any patron between the age of 12 to 17 that is not entering the sports complex to participate in a sport, will also be required to provide proof of vaccination and government identification.
• Starting November 1st, any patron aged 12 or older, by order of the City of Toronto, and by Peel Region, will be required to present proof of vaccination regardless of their purpose of visit, at the following sports complexes: Etobicoke, Mississauga, Scarborough, and York.
What’s the current policy on Spectators?
As of October 9th, there are no longer any spectator capacity limits in effect in any of our designated viewing areas.
What are the protocols at on-site Wild Wing locations?
As of October 25th, capacity restrictions will be lifted from our on-site Wild Wing locations. Each of our servers and team members continues to be committed to our best practices to ensure that your experience on-site is the best – and safest – it can be!

As the Province of Ontario continues to expand its re-opening plan, we’re committed to following government-issued directives, and providing the best – and safest – possible experience we can!
